Their are several. One in particular is Brazilian Jiu-jitsu, as shown by its effectiveness in real life combat and the MMA world. Certain striking arts, such as boxing/kickboxing- Muay Thai are also common combat skills trained throughout the miltary. Ther are probably others, nothing specifically as it's best to be well rounded. I'd imagine other arts that specialize in pressure points and specific fatal technique- crav?

that guy above me doesn't know much apparently.
The military really doesn't teach much in the way of martial arts. They just don't have time to do that. The basic training martial arts consists of about 3 hours of pairing off and running drills such as strike to the solar plexus and how to defend your head. That's about it. In 3 hours you really can't learn much.
As far as the special forces go it's about the same deal. I would say once every year or so they do a refresher of the basic course that you take in training and occasionaly if one of your officers feels it's important they will get an instructor to go thru a days worth of work.. again nothing you can really learn from a days worth of training.
So in conculsion, if you think the military is going to teach you to be a hand to hand expert you have been watching too many movies.

Sorry, Dude...that's secret...If we told you, then you would know just as much as us. Why don't you see a recruiter and join up for yourself? Tell him or her you want to join their space program and trust me it does exsist!
