why will girls date guys who are not very cute. they might be short and bald or tall and chunky. but men wont date women who are not twigs. alot of my friends who are girls are bulit or well porportioned. so we all now what it is like....... so why.

All types of guys date all types of girls...I know a LOT of heavy women, not particularly attractive women, etc who are in relationships with men...so apparently men DO date women who are not twigs and who don't look like they should be on the cover of Vogue.

Me personally...I am dating an ugly guy lol but i love him <3 but actually most women are more interlectual than men, not shollow like men and look for more than looks. men are afraid of what others may think when he is seen with her. For example, his friends may laugh and tease him, but a womans friends will embrace the fact that even if he is ugly, he has a great personality and treats her good.

are you serious? first of all the twigs aren't interesting unless they have a hell of a personality are very beautiful and dress really, really well. myself i prefer the well proportioned i don't know what's wrong with guys who don't but you know to each his own. as far as girls dating guys who aren't cute themselves; i think a lot of it has to do with the fact of what that guy has to offer that girl, what she can learn from him and where his mind state is at. the guys who are so great looking, perhaps, aren't into those girls themselves, or have their own insecurities or perhaps aren't as well rounded as the average guy is. if you're very secure in who you are, aren't going to change for anyone and aren't that impressed or phased by most girls you'll come off a whole lot more attractive than you really are. it helps if you're clean to; total nerds can pull a nice looking girl out of the crowd, if they really want that girl and are willing to do what it takes to be with them. those great looking guys may not be going the extra mile perhaps, from what i can figure.

I date people that have good personalities and qualities that I like. I am less concerned about what they look like. Everyone is only a car wreck away from ugly, so why place that much emphasis on looks?

I dont know but its true... I'm good looking well not ugly, but i see guys who are BIG boys like 230lbs or more... And people think i'm crazy, but looks arnt everthing...

and really thats all there is...
women and girls will date for personality but for most men they could care less about her personality and more about her body...
