First be certain which one you have an pastime in-- Wicca, or Witchcraft. Or the two perchance. Wicca is a faith. the concentration is faith, no longer magic. in case you're no longer involved in faith, Wicca isn't what you're searching for. Witchcraft is the prepare of magic, would be blended with any (or no) faith. Then merely study plenty. you are able to no longer be certain properly in case you decide directly to alter right into a faith until eventually you realize what it certainly espouses, to work out in case you think and if it works for you. positioned Witchcraft and magical pastimes on the decrease back burner for a jointly as, concentration on your courting with your Gods and how you combine Wicca into your existence. And Witchcraft merely demands a large variety of learn and psychological self-discipline, so merely dedicate to learn for the subsequent 6 months and a three hundred and sixty 5 days and start up with a meditation regime.

I believ there is a websit called witchvox.com that has a great deal of information on it, but being a Christian I cannot say I did more than give it a cursory glance to see what the actual belief system is. I was not interested in the other things like spells and such but Wiccans themselves seem to be rather friendly people with a general outlook of treating others with the respect they wish to be afforded.

Are you picking Wicca based on your agreement with its tenets? There are many Pagan sects and denominations to choose from: Asatru, Vodoun, Druid Reconstructionist, Hellenic/ Thracian Witchcraft, and Stregheria, just to name a few. I don't question your motives nor your intelligence but it would be wise to " shop around" before committing to any one type of practice; personally I am an " eclectic" witch, meaning I borrow from many Pantheons and pagan cultures. For me, this is the most intelligent choice as no one pagan doctrine in its entirety survived the Burning Times, aside from this, my learned pagan brothers and sisters have provided good sites and books to start you off, the only thing I can add is one of my favorite books on witchcraft " Green Witchcraft 2: Balancing Light and Shadow" by Aoumiel/ Ann Moura. She is a very good writer and presents paganism in a very understandable form. Happy Hunting ,and " Blessed be thy feet that bring thee on thy Path"!

first off, go here and check the site out...it's GREAT!!! http://www.witchschool.com/login.asp ... next, you should type in a google search bar either the word wicca, wiccan supplies, solitary wicca, etc., and you'll get more than enough info about the craft. i'm sort of new to it myself, and there are always more and more websites popping up each day to make use of. we always know each other with our little catch phrases, which you'll soon learn if you're serious about the craft. believe me, some of these rituals do actually work, if you're in serious need and your intention is NEVER TO HARM ANOTHER BEING in any way. HARM NONE is the most prevalant motto and mantra amongst the wiccan faith that i've come upon in the past couple of years. feel free to send me an e-mail or message if you want more info, and good luck to you dear. blessed be.

One of my favorite websites is
http://paganwiccan.about.com
They have book recommendations and e-mail classes about topics like the Tarot.
Another good website, with LOTS of information:
http://www.ecauldron.net/
Lastly, Google or look up the word "Wicca" with the name of the largest city close to you, and you'll probably find an association or store of some type.

Best book you can start with would be Scott Cunningham's Wicca: a Guide for the Solitary Practioner
Avoid "WitchSchool" and the founders, The Frosts, like the plague...they believe in sexually innitating children into the Craft - the sooner the community throws them out the better.

book stores, google, yahoo search engine... anywhere really. There are also many blog sites on it. Book stores are your best bet. They have lots to choose from. In the New age, or Religion Section. Good luck.

I would think the internet would be the best place but I understand there's a lot to go thru. Just take your time and weed thru it all. Did you go to the library too?
