Kuta Beach, Sanur, Borabadur (sp?), and Ubud. All very much 'tourist destinations'. Of the four, Kuta would be the most tourist-centric and so inexpensive that some places to stay are a bit dodgy. Ubud is quieter, more cultural, and no beach. Sanur is still a beach resort place, but a little more upscale. Borabadur is a temple area (I guess that's what you'd call it) that's very pretty and more rural. Or it was when I was there some years ago.
