This is a pretty opiniated question, but on average, I'd wager Panasaonic. I'm sure Panasonic will have the better quality reputation in regards to high budget electronics like LCD TVs. Furthermore, I've never read about an extraordinary Phillips LCD. In contrast, I hear a lot about Panasonic, Sony, and Samsung LCDs.

Panasonic hands down. Phillips just does not make good lcds at all. The panel used in Panasonic lcd has a higher quality.

Panasonic! I sold TV's on commission so I had to know my stuff. Philips is one of the worst brands --it used to be better but merged with other companies. I recommend getting a sony if you can afford it. If not Panasonic is fine. Stay away from Magnavox, philips, sylvania and anything lower. With electronics you really get what you pay for. If a tv is $50 more than a comprable model there's probably a reason for it.

ABSOLUTELY PANASONIC !!!!
I will not purchase ANY PHILLIPS product for any reason, even if it's free!
They used to be good, but not anymore
Poor service, lack of proper parts, weak picture quality...why buy it?
Panasonic has good....no.....Superb picture quality and service....I don't need to say any more than that....
