What the heck do people want, the same hackneyed garbage about "controversial bible passages", and "does prayer work?" or "god isn't real."

I'm trying to get people to THINK, (maybe even outside the box a little), rather than come here night after night and spit venom at each other. Possibly even generate a laugh or two (even at my own expense?)

What sad, sorry bunch of characters (not everyone, of course.)

You're right not everyone. Do it for those who care - like me. I enjoy you posts so don't get discouraged. Soon you'll have a gaggle of rabid followers that track your posts.

I would guess that there is probably one of two reasons why people insult you in most of the instances where it occurs. Either you ask questions in a way that offends them or since they can't think of an intelligent answer they resort to name calling.

Who are you angry at? What was the question? I usually answer the serious and the whimsical as long as they are not just vulgar or extremely offensive.

Because this is YA meant for entertainment.. It's not a Master's level Philosophy class.

If you want good discussion take a class in logic or philosophy or something like that.

People don't like being made to think. People like questions that can be answered with bible verses.

Interesting how your examples are only lead towards 'religious' questions.

What makes you think those type of questions don't make you think?

Any question can TRUELY make one ponder - if asked correctly.

Such as (ready for this one?):

Why do they call cookies COOKies when in actuality they are BAKED?

HMMM? ;)

A typical response when you sprain the brain of a Christian with heavy thought is to simply insult you. It makes them feel superior to you.

Dont take it personal bro. Sheeple are sheeple...
