Yes, my friend took it but had to stop because it was makeing her deppressed.

The thing is that ritalin is an amphetamine and it may cause depression BUT like most side effects this to shall pass...Adderal and strattera are two other very good ADD drugs; the strattera has been found to be particularly effective with adults and children alike...
What is the issue? Inability to stay on task or inappropriate behavior...If it is you and you really cannot tell( as opposed to not wanting to stay on the meds and looking for a reason to quit)then ask someone else who knows you(say at work) but NOT that you are on meds(or need meds) and see if they see a difference...often the issue is whether or not you want a job, an income, health insurance and a life or you want to be "Free" of drugs while you self-medicate with alcohol and whatever else suits your fancy...If you think I have seen this up close and personal then you are right...

Yes it can because when i was younger I was on Ritalin i tried to commit suicide 3 time but did not succeed. go to a doctor or talk to a love 1
