I couldnt find my cat casper all day then I heard him in our living room and I could not see him i looked everywhere until i realise he was inside the wall! i didntt know how he got there and I paniced I started drilling a half inch hole in the wall to get him food and water and I think I may have struck him with the drill when i broke through the wall and went in further with the drill bit than I wanted to go..he made a squealing sound I have never heard him make before and made moaning noises for a long time before going quiet I am not sure if he is drinking the water I poured through the hole I tried forcing cat food through the hole..most of it got stuck but some of it got through and I thought I heard casper eating it but i may have been mistaken
what can I do I dont want to destroy the wall but Im worried about my cat..please help

My cat got stuck inside a cinder block wall once. We had moved into a house with those walls in the basement, and didn't know they weren't capped at the ceiling. She was on the ledge, got scared, and scampered down... and went down some more.. and down some more. We could hear about where she was, so my dad put a hole in the wall above where she'd be, then it was a matter of coaxing her up far enough that we could grab her and pull her out. We actually removed an entire cinder block, I believe.
In a drywall sort of wall, those panels are easy to replace, so yes, do make a hole. Use a hand saw if possible so the noise doesn't scare her into another part of the wall. If you think you hurt her, then you want to get her out as quickly as you can to get her medical attention.

Do you know where the cat got in? There's got to be a hole somewhere, maybe only a small one such as a place for an electrical socket to go but there still has to be a significant hole. If the cat isn't injured he should be safe for at least several hours, maybe a day, before he gets dangerously thirsty. I'd get some help, look for a place where the cat could have gotten into the wall, if you can't find one probably your only choice is to break through the wall (it wouldn't take that large of a hole to let him come out, depending what kind of cat it is).

ok well the first thing is to do is DONT PANIC!!! you cant get anything done when you panic! second if it is necessary call a non-emergency sheriff or the non-emergency police and see if they can help you. but if u dont want to do that then you will have to cut a hole in the wall to get your cat out. and you prabably shouldnt have drilled unless u knew the cat was there you should have banged on the wall to scare the cat out of the way.
good luck with your cat

DRILL, BAD! Don't do it again. Get a hammer or drywall saw, go to the side of where the cat is..Make a hole large enough and get him through!!! Get Casper out of there, if u drilled him, he will die. The cost of repair is nothing compared to the guilt that u will feel for letting him die back there. DO IT NOW!!! and for God's sake, let us know if he's ok -dd

Are you serious??? Break a hole in the wall and get her out then sounds like she may to go to the vets for a tetnus shot because you stuck with your drill. Then you better find out how she got in there or you'll be "drilling" another hole. lol

might as well destroy the wall- use a razor blade knife to square out the hole so you can replace the shhetrock
destroy the wall NOW ! or destroy it later when the dead cat starts to smell
! YOUR CHOICE

You need to cut a larger hole in the wall to remove the cat, and you need to do it soon.

....could your story be full of more holes like your wall you've drilled? Sqealing? Cat's don't squeal they meow. Good try though. You got a rise out of everyone so I hope you had your two minutes of fun.
