The possibility is Jesus had Hazel or brown eyes, but then again, why not blue. It is not like there are none with blue eyes, green eyes, and all must be brown. Everything is possible.
We are used to believe that all black people must have dark eyes, or brown, but I have seen many black people with green eyes, how did that happened!
you see. anything is possible. Blue, green, Hazel, brown or whatever color they may have been, it would not make any difference who was Jesus Christ.

The problem is that we seem to want to judge the past, and how it was supposed to be with our present time, and that is a mistake. Jesus time was so much different than ours, and it could also include how people used to look like.

It's great that your grandson is thinking about Jesus, what a peaceful subject to think about as a child. From what I've always been taught, the people group that Jesus belonged to - their eyes are brown, but that's just what I've been taught.

The Bible never gives any physical description of Christ. The closest thing we get to a description is in Isaiah 53:2b, “He had no beauty or majesty to attract us to Him, nothing in His appearance that we should desire Him.” All this tells us is that Jesus’ appearance was just like any other man's – He was ordinary-looking. Most of the images we have of Jesus are probably very inaccurate. Jesus was a Jew, so He likely had very tan skin, dark eyes, and dark hair. This is a far cry from the blond-haired, blue-eyed, fair-skinned Jesus in most modern pictures.

Considering the ethnicity of the people who live in the area of the world where Jesus lived, I would have to say his eyes were most likely brown.

we dont know... but since middle eastern people dont often hae blue eyes I doubt it

the problem is there was an extra biblical inscirption that described jesus as blue eyed... I dont put much weight in it but nor do I know for sure what color his eyes were.

I would tell him soemthing like this: the Bible doesnt tell us Jesuss skin color, eye color or hair color... it describes what kind of person He was and what He taught which is more important. He was without sin and paid the penalty for sins of others and rose on the third day to prove there is forgiveness of sins through Him.

Jesus was Jewish. Most Jewish people have brown eyes since brown is a dominate gene. Your grandson probably saw a movie or something.

He probably saw a drawing Jesus in Sunday School and all those books make Jesus look like a Scandinavian even though nobody in Palestine looks that way.

He does. A man at my church, he was in the Hospital and he died for a few minutes in the hospital and when they revived him, my pastor was there and he looked at my pastor and said, Bro. Rhoden I told Jesus I didn't want to leave just yet and that's why I am here right now, but Jesus has the most beautiful eyes I have ever seen." but the man I am referring to you past away last year and he really loved God, and when he was in the Hospital lying in that bed he was always smiling even through all the pain that he was in. this may sound crazy to most of y'all, but I know that it is true, because I believe in God and My Faith is always in God and to those that love and serve God too. You make think me and this story is crazy, but it's the truth. Jesus may have been a Jew, BUT JESUS IS NO ORDINARY JEW!!!! Jesus was different, and with God all things are possible. And like i said in the story, I beileve that Jesus's eyes are Blue, without a single doubt I believe it.
