If these miles are for overseas flights:
(A) It depends on whether you have friends. I would return to the Hawaiian Islands indefinitely. However, I have family there, and wouldn't have to pay for hotel and food. (Well, I do pitch in on the food. I'm not that cheap!!)
(B) The dollar goes a L O N G ways in the Third World. So the next assignment is checking out how safe it is, the health conditions, and whether the weather is to your liking. (Winter is generally a great time to visit most tropical places).
I love Asia. And the Philippines is not only less expensive than Japan, but EVERYONE speaks English, and the people are super friendly. (Plus the signs are not in "strange" characters).
If these miles are for U.S. or (N. America) flights:
(a) Alaska.
Strengths -- "Undiscovered" wilderness scenery. Awesome glaciers, mtns., lakes. And, if you do your research, you can see the Northern Lights, which everyone on the planet must experience, if they have the transportation.
Weaknesses -- If your idea of a great time is the mall, or manmade attractions, this isn't for you.
(b) The Pacific Northwest : Vancouver, Canada or Seattle, WA.
These are vibrant, energetic cosmopolitan areas. You'll have the look them up online to see if they're your type of vacation. You can get around by public transportation and walk about, huddle in coffeehouses or gift shops ; museums and cultural centers.
And, with a rental car, you can take the amazing ferries to incredible little islands.
(c) Manhattan. If you loved San Francisco, NYC is a bit more intense, but there is so much to experience. Just walking around, or taking the subways, you see so much. So much history, incredible architecture, and culture.
Of course you've got the shows, and the food -- perhaps the best dining in America.

Cabo San Lucas, Mexico. I went there for a week and had one of the best times of my life. The people are very friendly and of course the tequila flows like water. Sunsets and sunrises there are magnificent. Sammy Hagar's bar, The Cabo Wabo is there and he drops in to play several times a year. Plus, if you're in the market for silver jewelry you'll think you've died and gone to heaven. I'd really like to move there when I retire.

Well it depends on where you live. I personally would love to go see New York City, otherwise I would go somewhere warm with nice beaches.
