there is this guy and we dated once but ever since we broke up we've been bestfriends.
and he asked me to homecoming for next year a while ago and i said yes.
and we were talking about dating(just in general,not with eachother) and he said he liked someone but he wouldn't tell me who,but if it wasn't me he would tell me who it was right?
i just dont know,i like him and we have a strong connection and i just want to know if he likes me,im so confused.

yeah guys tend to do that. my best friend wouldnt tell me who he liked but he always told me before and i found out he likde ME. take a chance see is he wants to date. notice the things your talking about: dating ..homecoming...who he likes...it all adds up.

yes from what your saying that would be my guess..however not knowing your age here is very important short story..i married my childhood sweetheart and for all porpoises best friend we stayed together ten years..she started working night job met some guy and divorced me..and hasn't never spoken too me since..so if you value your friendship..be car full..good luck..

guys are confusing. and they dont even have PMS lol but yeah i hate it when guys do things like that because you like them and it just leaves you hanging. that makes me like them more. they should just come out and say it cause you just wonder is it me.. why doesnt he like me. . or i wish it was me that he liked.. and i just think about it all the time

No, if it wasn't you he wouldn't necessarily tell you who it is. He may be afraid to hurt your feelings and is taking your past relationship and your feelings into consideration.

It could be you, or it be a friend of yours or someone who you dislike and he doesn't want to tell you because he thinks you'll make fun of him or get pissed off at him.
