I often put the milk in the bowl first, simply because i grab IT before the cereal box. when ever someone else witnesses me do this, they freak out and say "OH MY GOSH! U PUT THE MILK IN FIRST???" Like i have committed some sort of crime. What are your opinions on this?

No it's not a crime!.....but i normally put in the cereal first.....not everybody think the same...you can't expect everybody to do the same at least somebody have to be different!....well I saw my mom do it so I just follow her...get so use to it....it's just a habit....in the end it's all going the same place....a person like me who loves to eat don't care what goes in first same mouth same place!

No crime, simply odd. Adding cereal first, then milk, allows you to better gauge the amount of milk needed for the cereal you poured and allows the cereal to become "wet" as the milk is poured over it, versus having to push it down into the milk as it floats on top, if you put milk in the bowl first.
It's a preference thing...but cereal first makes more sense to me. To each, their own. There are certainly more bizarre things people do than this. LOL!

I do that too and I get similar reactions from relatives who don't live with me. I do this because I'm kind of used to it. I would wake up and there would also be milk in my cereal bowl and cereal boxes to choose from. So I just prefer it this way.
When I eat something like Frosted Flakes, though, I put in the cereal first.

As a young girl I had a friend that put on very little milk in her cereal. I guessed it had to do with her large family and being frugal, but I tried it and for a long time ate cereal with very little milk. Moral: it do what it do.

Honestly...I ALWAYS put the milk in first. Putting the cereal in first may be most people's preference, but it doesn't have to be yours! It's all the same anyway, you eat it right?

All my life I put the cereal in first, but why would it be a crime to put your milk in first?! you do what whatever makes you happy! not what others tell you, & that sounds like somethimg a "child" would say!-lol

Some people might think that it's against the laws of nature and the natural order of things. You are just trying to have a bowl of cereal, do it how you do it. Ignore those comments.
