what matches with deep purple?

i have a kitchen set the chairs have deep puple covering and i found a matching table cloth with curtains.i have an open kitchen living room my couch and chair is stone color other things are oak what color can i put my living room for the kitchen and living room to combine with each other?

Make a couple of throw pillows for the stone colored couch with fabric that has a touch of deep purple in it. That might bring the rooms together somewhat.

as a contractor, i will tell you that there are many colors to choose from, the best color for you is a pastel one, you can go into any place that sells paint, and look at a chart, there you may choose to bring some sample charts home, and compare them with your colors, now remember, a sample is small, and once you have painted your room, it may not look like you want it, my 20 yers of painting, i found getting a small can of paint, in your color, and painting a small but nice sized area, mand looking at it for a day or two, then see if you like it, if not, adjust your color, and continue with you tast, and looks, any props, you can e-mail me at [e-mail], and i can help you all you want Robert.

Here's a web site that provide color wheel to help you choose complentary, contrasting, etc colors. It will elp you see the color you're trying to work around with the colors that will blend in well.

a lighter shade of the opposite color in teh color wheel...eg. pale yellow...a taupe (has some yellow in it) taupe would actually look very elegant...a light green (more on the yellow side of teh spectrum) or just plain white
