Hi Jimmie,
If you are talking about outside corners then you attach a drywall corner beading . Fix it using drywall nails then mud over the beading at least twice and sand.
When sanding make sure you where eye and breathing protection. Dust will go everywhere.

If you're talking about the clear plastic ones, use small brad nails and just nail it on every 18" or so on both corners. They aren't really that noticeable. They're about an inch long with small heads.
You could also use a thin layer of clear silicone but the nails would probably hold up better.

I absolutely have not seen interior corners, purely outdoors. Tape is in many situations used for interior corners. they're connected with screws or nails about each 8" aside. then you definately tape and use drywall compound over them.

Instead of nailing, I used this attachment. Just put the metal tool on the cornerbead and hit with the mallet. Fast, easy and no nails.
