Today as I was walking home from school a really nice red car honked at me. Why? Was is how I looked? Why exactly do people do that? Like, what does it mean?(I'm 13, so they prolly couldn't like me?)

Well you honk to say hi or yes maybe he thought you were cute. But you are 13 and you should stick to guys your age not worry about men driving by honking.

most people do that because they just think you're cute. It used to happen to me a lot when I was walking to my friends house after school.. but sometimes I'd just be wearing jean and a big ugly sweatshirt and it would still happen. I think some guys do it just to see the reaction they get from the girl they're honking at.

Well, I am 25 and I notcie that younger and younger girls dress way to sexy. (FYI a young girl dressed that way is not sexy). So you might look older and he honked because he thought you where hot. Also he could have honked just to be an idiot. Either way stay away from anyone who is trying to pick up on you by honking. They are freakin losers.

Because some men are just dirty pigs! Your 13! Thats bad! Unless you look older. I'm sure you do. Just make sure you dont get into any honking cars

You are a cute young lady, the person driving probably recognized that and honked at you as a way of saying "Hey, I think you're cute, I would stop and talk to you if I weren't on my way somewhere right now." I wouldn't dwell on it too much, just take it as a compliment!

I'm thirteen too and once i was with my grandmother. Then all of a sudden, this blue trashy car ran by, honked, and then some one leaned out of the door and said"mmmmmmmmmm, baby got back". And i was so mad and embarressed. So most likely they were just high-schoolers wanting so fun.

Who knows why the person in the car honked besides that person? It may be that someone finds you attractive, or it may be that the person thought you were someone else.

2- they knew you
3- felt like honking for no reason at all

sorry to say, but its probably cause you were attractive to them...
see, we live in a generation where its getting harder to tell how old a girl is.
or they could be honkin at you for something else, i was honked at and i dont know why, just go with the flow
