Religious(Christians specifiaclly) people claim atheists hate this and hate that, but I think religious people are the real haters. They hate everything that is against or even somewhat different than their own religion. They criticize people and make false assumptions about them. Islam-false God based on the moon. Atheist hate God(eventhough we believe he does not exist). Catholics worship the virgin Mary Etc.This reminds me of the 50's (United States)where everyone has to think like eachother and be a stereotyped Christian who forbidds anything that critcizes religious/government authority.Everyone was brainwashed into behaving in a certain way. Children of that era had no free will until the late 60's where they rebeled as hippies. I just dont get how people could act this way eventhough they are supposedly "good".

I take position to be seen conservative and that i believe your pal is incorrect to inform you that your perspectives are incorrect, i surely am no longer thoroughly determined almost about determination (although I do lean in the route of the right to pick, with limits). even as it includes gay rights, i believe gays should be entitled to a similar rights, yet when a given priest or perhaps an finished church chooses to no longer participate in or perhaps comprehend a wedding ceremony, it really is their perfect to do to be able to. At large, ability for acceptance of diverging ideas is something discovered from family contributors or different circles of acquaintances. My father is strongly conservative and my mom is purely as liberal as he's conservative. although i will't characteristic my 100% of ability to make sound judgments on condition, it did play a function. i will inform you what I tell fairly some human beings, it really is continually the least open-minded human beings that shout the loudest and are the fastest to guage. in accordance to a previous remark, do not situation about dropping this pal. I actually have liberal and conservative acquaintances and neither hesitate to make sensible i comprehend it. purely comprehend the position the line is even as it includes what's perfect and what's no longer even as it includes friendship.

First of all how can you hate something that you claim doesnt exist? True CHRISTians dont hate, actually they are to love the person, but hate the sin. The 50's was a better time, its when people knew what they stood for and werent brainwashed by the media, abortionists, homosexuals, corrupt judges. How can taking down the ten commandments be good for anyone. thats what our laws were based upon, CHRISTian morals and values, its when they took prayer out of schools that everything started to go downhill in AMERICA.Oh, lets take GOD out of everything because a few crybabies are offended. Lets watch our country go to hell because of people like you that dont even realize just how brainwashed they really are!!!

Many Christians look back at the 1950s as the glory days, when America was 'right'. They like it because they imagine they were in control and everyone else was afraid to differ with them. Most of what they 'remember' is a fantasy, the 1950s were not at all like what they are portrayed as. Hypocrites ruled the country. Kind of like now. And then the normal people got tired of it. Like now.

Have you ever looked at the book of Corinthians? This book, written by Paul,is especially full of hate and bigotry. This one book alone, could be used for an eternity as justification for homophobes, male chauvinists, and anyone who is against any kind of sexual relations. That is one reason why people are so close minded.

Well, I remember the 50's. And you're sort of right. We were all little flag-waving, church-going, psalm-singing cub scouts. And yes...the 60's changed everything. For one...I'm glad to NOT be living in "Leave IT To Beaver" anymore.

The reason we religoius people are so closed minded, is that so far an open minded person like you hadn't come along to teach us. Now that you are setting the example for us, we might be able to change. Thaks for your help!

I think it depends on the person's character & personality on how they behave. How they were brought up & stuff. There's good ppl that are Catholic, Jewish, Christian etc... & there's ppl that only THINK they're good but actions speak louder than words!!!!!!!
