Anyone know where I can get GHD Straightners for a reasonable price? I live in Glasgow/Scotland so anywhere that sells them there, or a good website.

Thanks

www.ebay.co.uk - they have some great bargains. My mate got some brand new ones for £35 recently.

I bought mine from Salon Services, although I'm not sure where abouts your nearest one will be. Be careful if you use e-bay though, I know of 2 people who have bought GHDs from there, and the straighteners that they received, were not the GHD ones that the sellers had advertised.

I also heard that Remington do a pair of straighteners which are just as good as GHDs and you can get them from Argos/Boots.

I got mine from www.HQhair.com, really good site, resonable prices etc. I think I paid £76 with p&p, compared to £99 in most shops. Quick delivery too.

By the way all straighteners will burn your hair if you don't use protective products. GHD do their own range or try Paul Mitchell Heat Seal or Seal & Shine, these put a temporary barrier on your hair preventing damage.

Don't bother. My daughter bought some and spent a lot of money on them. They were great and she raved about them and said they were the best thing since sliced bread. She was very pleased until she borrowed my Tesco Value straightners (£5.99) as she could not tell the difference! You'll be paying for a name.
