Ummm, yes--once upon a time, there WERE no mini ones...but there were still big marshmallows and there was rice krispie bars.

You can even (GASP) make them from GENERIC crisp rice cereal!!

6 cups rice crispies
I bag BIG Mallows

4 TBS butter

Melt the butter and the mallows in Microwave for like 2 min
STIR
DONE

Yes, you can. Just watch your measurements. It may take a little longer for them to melt, too, but you can certainly use them.

Ha...yeah, you can. I mean, the marshmallows melt in the pot so it doesn't matter at all what size they are.

why not its by cups just smash them into the cup its probably because of the ease of measureing that they use small
