get a spray bottle and give him a squirt every time you catch him doing it. Check to make sure there isnt a reason he it licking himself e.g a rash or parasites

Many dogs will lick them selves because they have no job or anything to occupy them. Get your dog a KONG toy that you can fill will liver foam your dog will love it, and they are relitively inexpensive all though the stuffing can add up, so you could use regular biscuts or healthy treats are great. The other source of your dogs licking could be a rash, consult with your vet about a cream or flea medicine.
