They are all Atheists.

Albert Einstein was not a Deist! He may have been Agnostic, but he was definitely not a Deist.

Edison was not a Christian

For those of you who think that I’m trying to prove atheism, you’re wrong. None of this proves anything except that many intelligent talented respectable people are Atheists.

I’m not a Larry Flynt Fan, nor am I a Howard Stern fan, but they are atheists so I included them.

Dyslexia. They were not all atheists. Gates is an agnosic and Edison and Twain, as Masons, who are required to believe in some form of higher power for admission to the Masons, could not have been. It's true Twain lost a lot of his faith; Edison called the blade of grass the greatest invention - thus requiring an inventor, hence a Mind behind that plan. I could believe that Stern is an atheist as he is a worthless piece of sh*t.

BTW I just checked the site. Some are atheists, some are agnostics and some are in doubt of Theism or organized religions. So what all those on this list have in common is that they are all in the celebatheists.com website. Thanks for the ten points.

Oh, I sure hope you're not going to say something ridiculous like, "they all believe in god" -- because you would be completely wrong.

Just one example:
"It was, of course, a lie what you read about my religious convictions, a lie which is being systematically repeated. I do not believe in a personal God and I have never denied this but have expressed it clearly. If something is in me which can be called religious then it is the unbounded admiration for the structure of the world so far as our science can reveal it."
(Albert Einstein, from a letter to a friend)

Besides, even if it *were* true (it's not, but let's consider the hypothetical) that all of those people believed in "god," that doesn't prove that god exists -- it just proves that all of those people believed in him. There are still thousands of people who believe the earth is flat -- does that make it flat? PROOF is required to accept something, not a large number of believers.

I'm guessing that they are all Atheists. I know that most of them on that list are, and so the ones I don't know about, I'm assuming are Atheists.

I just want to add however: is Howard Stern a good representative of Atheists? Most of the people on that list are good, but Howard Stern? Oh well...

only a wager, yet they are all atheist? For what it really is properly worth. All you're truly doing is shifting right into a p***ing contest; it doesn't remember who's an atheist, or who's a Christian; what concerns is who has some kind of verifiable information to diminish back up their claims (or perhaps it truly is purely a subjective 'remember').

Is it that they are all famous? lol
I hope you aren't going to tell us that they all share a similar religious belief or non-belief, because I won't believe you. And if it were true, that wouldn't really prove anything one way or another.
Any way, I presume you'll post your answer, so I'll be looking forward to seeing what you say.
EDIT: I answered before seeing all the other answers - I see I wasn't very original! ROFL
