To me, hickeys are trashy. Everyone gets them at some point in their life, but I'd be very disappointed if my daughter or son came home with one. Parents, friends, teachers, neighbors, everyone will see it and it would make me look like a bad parent. There's nothing wrong with having a private sex life or relationship. The number one rule my fiance and I have in our relationship is that our sex life is private. We don't share anything we do in the bedroom with anyone else, nor do we leave hickeys all over each others' bodies for the world to see. It's just not appropriate. Your parents need to sit down with you and have the sex talk with you and discuss why they don't like the hickeys. Considering your mom was very mad with you the first time it happened, I'm shocked you went behind her back and did it a second time. If she doesn't like it, then don't do it.

I would have a sit down talk with her and let he know my views on sex an my expectations of her when it comes to sex. i would then find out if they did have sex and if so if it was protected or not. I'd be more interested in making sure she wasn't pregenet first (get her a plan "B" if necessary).

Then.. I would have her see her dr and get her on some form of birth control.

You may think this is way wacked but its a lot better doing this than having a daughter who get knocked up.

Of course the lecture about how a hicky looks and the way (adults) view that (as someone who is a slut or not very educated).

If she came home twice with one I'd have a talk with both of them and let him know that this is unacceptable and that if it happens a third time that all parents will have a chat. for most teens I think that would solve the problem.

so.. have her go home and talk to her mom. at worst she is grounded. at best.. she will find out her mom is looking out for her (even when she is not).

Expalin to her that hickeys make her look trashy, and that it's extremely immature to let a guy give you one.

I'd also caution her about going too fast, too soon.

Oh, and give her a turtleneck and some concealer.

Tell the little idjut to stop that! LOLOL

It is not your business to help her hide it from her parents. She and her parents need to have a talk about matters pertaining to dating and sex if they haven't already done so. Are you aware of the sexual diseases that can be acquired through saliva alone? These are not games for children to play, especially when they do not know the possible life-long harmful effects. Wait until you are adults and don't give your precious innocence away to lusty boys.

She probably has reason to be scared of being grounded. I know I would ground my daughter for that.

(Mind you, she's only 3 years old, so I don't have to worry about that for a little while yet!)

Well since my daughter is only 3 I would find whoever gave it to her and beat their @$$.

I hope to have anotehr 10 to 11 years before I need to start worrying about that.

get her some cover up. hickeys look pretty tacky. I'm not sure how long it takes to go away...but until then cover up should do it :P

she deserves to get grounded---obviously she is a CHILD and not an adult if she is concerned about what Mommy and Daddy would say....save the hickey for when you are at least 18 and live on your own....then no one can say anything to you as then u are old enough to make those decisions on your own---wether good or bad

It's too bad she's afraid of her parents.
She needs to just own up and face them. It will happen sooner or later. Hopefully her parents have had "the talk" already.
