I'm asking because I have heard of them in the states and wonder if anyone has any info on lawsuits here in canada. I was on it and it really caused me tons of problems. I tried to commit suicide while on it.

A family member was on it, he had horrendous side effects while taking Effexor,I don't know about Canada but there are a number in the U.S. who have ongoing law suits.

I'm on it now and have been for many months and it makes me feel very funny. I feel like i can't think clearly, i get headaches alot, I've gained a bunch of weight, & I get hot flashes. I know the drug hasn't been recalled so it is pretty successful from what I hear but there are alot of people who have trouble while taking it or at least think their problems are being caused by Effexor. What other problems did you have on it?
