I'm 18 also so maybe I can help. Love is a funny thing, it takes time, compassion and friendship to create love. If you have been together a while and he makes sure he speaks to you every night almost, wants to be with you on the weekends rather than his friends. Then yeah, he loves you. If he hasn't said it yet its because he is afraid you'll reject his love, Guys are very frightened of being rejected, me included, so tell him. It would make my life so much easier if the girl was the one who made the first moves for a change.

Heey:D.. well actually thats the million dollar question... almost everygirl wishes they knew how to know that! Even girls with a lot of experience in the boyfriend department are not sure! Well from my experience, i can tell u that luv is unpredictable! u never know, but if he do likes you, you guyz are going to start seeing each other a lot, he will do everything possible to be near you, and he will treat u so nicely! There are some guys, that they act like, ermmm.. guyz, but when they are with u they are complete gentlemans! and i dont know what else can i tell you :P just believe in him! and if u love him, go 4 it girl! make sure he knows you luv him, but don put on too many pressure bcuz that makes some boys nervous, so avoid that, but try to have fun :)

Next arguement, threaten to leave him if he does not appologize or beg you not to leave him, then he's ready to move on or not bothered. If you don't argue, you should do, as this is the true test, if you can get through these then you at least love him and hopefully he loves you.
I get through my marriage by ignoring my partner when she starts... this is the later stage of love ;)

he doesn't need to prove it to anyone else he just needs to prove it to you. his age maybe something to do with this if he is young. or maybe he loves you so much he wants to keep him to himself so long as his actions are not suspect you are OK
