Not exactly sure how to approach your question. My geology knowledge is nearly 15 years old now, but...

You have 6 sided crystals like quartz. but i can't remember their actual structure name).
I believe there's also things like dodecahedrons (diamond?)
Bi-pyramidal (fluorite).
Cube (Sodium Chloride)
Calcite also has a shape like a parallelogram, but I can't remember it's name, either.

Hopefully that's on the right track, and enough to get you started.
