e. The Sun and the Moon both Emit light

According to the Bible both the sun and the moon emit their own light. In the Book of Genesis, chapter 1, verse 16 says, “And God made two great lights; the greater light to rule the day, and the lesser light to rule the night”.

Science tells us today that the moon does not have its own light. This confirms the Qur’anic concept that the light of the moon is a reflected light. To think that 1400 years ago, Prophet Muhummad (pbuh) corrected these scientific errors in the Bible and then copied such corrected passages in the Qur’an is to think of something impossible.

GO AND PICKUP A COPY OF QURAN WHICH IS THE LAST TESTIMENT FOR THE TRUTH.........

No. The world was not created 5000 years ago by a supreme being. It evolved into what we see around us through billions of years of change commonly referred to as evolution.

The bible doesn't say that the moon emits the light from its own radiation source.

Genesis 1:
14. And God said, Let there be lights in the firmament of the heaven to divide the day from the night; and let them be for signs, and for seasons, and for days, and years:
15. And let them be for lights in the firmament of the heaven to give light upon the earth: and it was so.
16. And God made two great lights; the greater light to rule the day, and the lesser light to rule the night: he made the stars also.

It just says that he made light. Those celestial bodies are also clocks that show when to plant, when to reap and so on.

The Bible is fine, the Quran is false.

Truth? Truth is the evidence of what was, what is and what will be, given the condition of Earth as we know it. If something is true it stands all tests. If something is false it passes no test. If something holds some truth then it passes limited tests.
Christianity and Islam both posses truths and untruths. What is true for you, the individual. is considered your own truth. Truth is very individualistic. To set truth as an absolute has no meaning to anyone except the person who states that it is the absolute truth. Islam is a teaching as established by Muhahmed, a prophet. Christianity is based upon the teachings of Jesus, a Son of God.
Both provided insights into truth.
Judaism is based upon the teachings of many prophets. Each provided his perspective. There were many prophets. Islam had only one.

First thing First. Are you talking about the Koran? If so, you obviously don't know what you are talking about. The earth was created apprx. 4,000 years ago. Then 7 days later Adam was created. The Bible is the only book that will give you the whole truth. There are parts of it that will keep you thinking, but God doesn't give all the details. You need to put your full trust in Him, and believe that He will guide you the right way.

So if I say I have two lights in my kitchen am I lying because one of them is a skylight and emits natural light and one is an electric light. Saying something is a light in no way insinuates what the source of light is. Is the moon a light? Then the Bible didn't lie!!!

It says two great lights but it descent say anything about emitting light. Reflected light is a light also. Don't try to prove something when you don't know what you are talking about. Just shut up. I am an Atheist why do I give a crap what you believe both are wrong anyway gust go away. Kisses Betty.

Allah or Jesus?
By Rick Mathes
Last month I attended my annual training session that's required for maintaining my state prison security clearance. During the training session there was a presentation by three speakers representing the Roman Catholic, Protestant and Muslim faiths who explained their belief systems. I was particularly interested in what the Islamic Imam had to say.
The Imam gave a great presentation of the basics of Islam complete with a video. After the presentations, time was provided for questions and answers. When it was my turn I directed my question to the Imam and asked: Please, correct me if I'm wrong, but I understand that most Imams and clerics of Islam have declared a holy jihad [Holy war] against the infidels of the world. And, that by killing an infidel, which is a command to all Muslims, they are assured of a place in heaven. If that's the case, can you give me the definition of an infidel?"
There was no disagreement with my statements and without hesitation he replied, "Non-believers!"
I responded, So, let me make sure I have this straight. All followers of Allah have been commanded to kill everyone who is not of your faith so they can go to heaven. Is that correct? The expression on his face changed from one of authority and command to that of a little boy who had just gotten caught with his hand in the cookie jar. He sheepishly replied, Yes.
I then stated, Well, sir, I have a real problem trying to imagine Pope John Paul commanding all Catholics to kill those of your faith or Pat Robertson or Dr. Stanley ordering Protestants to do the same in order to go to heaven! The Imam was speechless.
I continued, I also have problem with being your friend when you and your brother clerics are telling your followers to kill me. Let me ask you a question-would you rather have your Allah who tells you to kill me in order to go to heaven or my Jesus who tells me to love you because I am going to heaven and wants you to be with me? You could have heard a pin drop as the Imam hung his head in shame.
Chuck Colson once told me something that has sustained me these 20 years of prison ministry. He said to me, Rick, remember that the truth will prevail. And it will!

Jesus is the thruth, the way and the life!
