it's call road rage :(

It's just a version of road rage. If they could hit you or throw something at you, they would do that..

Unfortunately, our highways not only have the regular drivers but some that have a lot of rage, and we just have to live with it.

Blowing the horn sometimes just invites some reaction and this is the result a lot of times. For one thing, blowing the horn really didn't accomplish anything, because, even if it made you feel better, he/she may not even be aware of what they did, they really don't give a s.... . if they did.

I know it looks like blowing the horn should make a difference, but the end result usually results in the undesired response, but, hey, this is the real world, sad as it may be.

It's just their way of telling you their IQ score.

Morons believe that whenever a car horn is sounded, they should proudly lift their finger and tell the whole world the latest score they were awarded on their IQ test.

Don't be offended - just think of it is a courtesy signal. In fact, it would be a good idea to sound your horn more often - pretty soon you will notice all the morons around you, and learn to give them wide berth while driving.

(Apparently, the dept. of motor vehicles does not give an IQ test in order to acquire a driver's license. Perhaps they should reconsider.)

Have a nice day.

So many times when this happens I wish that we would end up in the same place and meet eye to eye. What would they say? What if they were on their way to a job interview and I was the deciding official . . . oops, or their surgeon . . . or . . .

Many people get behind the wheel and feel anonymous like we do on the Internet. It a shame. Ms. Manners, I am not but it's common decency to play fair and safe on the roads.

We if slow down we'll all live longer and happier lives.

most people seriously, dont think they are doing anything wrong, i live in southern california. and on one part coming over the overpass where it meets the freeway exit., the people getting off the freeway have to merge. but everyone still cuts people off and pull right out in front of cars like they did nothing wrong when u get pissed because u almost slammed into the back of them. there are definently 2 different types of drivers. ones that KNOW they have to share the road, and ones that think they own it.

People don't like to be honked even if they did something to cause it (the sound is designed to be particularly annoying so as to get attention).

Because they are selfish assholes. They are the same ones you see driving on the shoulder to get around traffic jams.

Because you should know that they are more important than you are and you should give them the road (they are just shocked that they got caught at it)
