It is indeed Itsu in Piccadilly. You should not have any concerns on health grounds about eating here. Polonium 201 emits radiation that not only has a very short range, but cannot penetrate even a flimsy physical barrier e.g. clothing, or even skin (this means that it can be taken through an airport security scanner when it is sealed properly without detection). However it does penetrate and damage human tissue if swallowed, as the ex KGB agent so sadly experienced, and it is highly toxic. In theory it could enter through a cut in the skin, but remember that the radiation has only a short effective range even if you were exposed.. If there are any traces left at Itsu they will have been cleaned up after the investigation, and would not constitute a health hazard.

British detectives have questioned witnesses in Moscow. Let's wait and see what the outcome is. And Monty, one of those answering the question, should treat this ominous situation more seriously. A life has been lost already and who knows how many more are being targeted?

Itsu Picadilly.
Would also avoid MJU in Knightsbridge. I was there on Friday night & it was very quiet - even though the food was good.
On saturday I felt quite woozy (could have been the wine!) and our friends told us that it's one of the hotels they've found high levels of radiation in.
