He decides that he's had enough of conquering his side of the world, ventures across the Atlantic and places settlements in
North and South America. Where would that put us today?
Hint---there were Native Americans here back in those days. He
brings a few of them back to the "old country"...go from there.

O.K., I realize that this is NOT how it happened, & that they probably did not have the technology to
cross a wide ocean.
I said probably.
Neither of these are the point! Use your imagination & write as though all of this
actually did happen.

Alexander would have liked to penetrate further into India, but his troops were far away from home and would not go any farther....

You can what if yourself until you are blue in the face. What if the Nazis won WWII or What if the South won the Civil War? Most historians hate the what if question and call them counter-factuals. History is not about what ifs. They might be fun to ask and try to figure out but really they aren't accomplishing anything. The reason they aren't accomplishing anything is that you are never going to know the real answer. It is more important to understand the events that took place and the people who lived during that time than to try and figure out what would have happened.
there is a book called "The Landscape of History" by John Lews Gaddis that explains the concept of counter factuals on a higher level.

Alexander's plan was to conquer northern europe, then africa, then return to asia. He would then forcibly move people around the world to cause race-mixing. No ships in existance at the time could've made the transatlantic journey due to lack of navigation techniques.
I think we would be looking at a predominantly polythiestic world with more religious diversity, little or no racial tension because of an incredibly mixed population, and possible a single world nation.
This assumes Alexander would not have been defeated by the Chinese empire, strong at the time.

Thats false. The boats were sturdy and well-built enough that they could have made it. An anthropologist proved this in idea that Egypt mingled with Aztecs I can't remember his name but he's Scandinavian. The lack of navigation techniques would be irrelevant because you could always become lost and end up there on accident.
Highly unlikely, but yet right now we could be living in a completely different country with different customs and cultures.

Two words: Taco Bell.
Seriously. Alex had a thing for late night spicy foodstuffs. The world would have had chalupas centuries sooner. And we'd be on Mars by now. With chalupas.

He didn't live longer, so how can anyone possibly know what else he could have accomplished. It would be mere speculation with no evidence to support the assertions. Ridiculous question.

More displacement of peoples...more mixing...no racial discrimination..but people would have found other grounds to fight each other.. we may have been 200-300 into the future.
