I like the keyboard shortcut ALT+PRTSCN

Irfanview for ALL your simple imaging processes. I use it all the time and it works on every windows system written. Has screen cap to as well as many other utilities you might find usefull.

snagit is my fave. you can do SO many things with it. you can take a section of the screen or the whole thing, save it to a file or the clipboard etc... the usual stuff. but you can do all sorts of things to the color, which makes it soo cool!
