Do all passports cost the same, or does it depend on where you go to get the passport? Where is the cheapest place where I can go at to apply for a passport?

Apply at a post office. Mine was in the $60-$80 range if I remember correctly. I don't think where you plan to travel makes a difference, but for some places, you may have to meet requirements beyond presenting a passport. You will also have to pay to have a picture with a white background taken, but that's pretty inexpensive.

All passports cost roughly the same; the easiest place to get a passport application is off the Internet at the US Postal Service link below. Some Post Offices offer photo services as well.

A Passport costs $97 for anyone over the age of 16. You will need an offical (not a copy) of your birth certificate in order to apply.

The US. State Department processes the actual passports. It takes anywhere from 2-6 months, depending upon the time of year and whether or not it's a busy travel season. You can also pay extra to have a "rush" put on your passport processing.

Passports cost the same, so there is no discount place to get one. There are some countries that require a Visa in addition to your passport and that will be an added expense.
If you are in the USA, the county your in has the process in place to obtain a passport.
If you are in New York, just go to Rockefella Center main building on the second floor and you will need passport pictures also,

The passports are the same in price, doesn't matter where your going or what you need it for, cost the same.
In the State of Michigan you apply for your passports at the local Post Office and only at certain times and days. Every location is different. Start at the local post office.

We just got passports at the post office, and they take checks and cash, but no debit cards or credit cards. I wrote a $37 check to Postmaster and a $60 the Department of State. If the checks bounce, I think to go to jail, FYI...

The photos at the post office are $15, but we got ours at Walgreens in 10 minutes and they were $6.99 for two. (You have to have two identical pics.)

I posted the link where you can find all the information about getting passports. There is a link from this page where you can find the closest locations to you to order a passport.

Bon voyage!

i'm assuming you want an american passport. here is a website for info:

http://travel.state.gov/passport/passport_1738.html

passports will cost you the same no matter where you get them. the price varies if you are minor, adult, renewing, or if this will be your first passport. i think for an adult it is $97. here is a website outlining the different fees:

http://travel.state.gov/passport/get/fees/fees_837.html

i'm not sure if this is the case everywhere but usually the main post office in a city accepts passport applications. many of them will also take your passport photos for you, for a small fee. the passport website should allow you to search for places in your area that will take your passport applications.

Passports can be obtained from the court house. And the price is the same, very expensive. For my husband and I, the total was over $300. And make sure that you go at least 2 months before your trip to make sure that they come in. And first go and take your passport photo at like Wal-greens. You will need to know where you are going. The passport takes at least 6-8 weeks to come in and ours did take about that time. Enjoy your cruise, I know my husband and I sure did. Norwegian is a great cruiseline.

Go to your travel agent or the post office. For the picture in your passport the cost depends on where you get it taken. Have fun wherever you are going! : )
