Why do you Catholics call priests/popes "father" when the Bible clearly says "call no man father" (Mt 23:9)?
It means, We do not call another father in reference to a spiritual or Church Leaders.
We will do everything the Lord has said; we will obey.” (Ex. 24:7)

"Bless me, Father...."? You may address your biological father as such but NOT someone in a religious context. For the Lord Jesus is very clear on the subject,
"And call no man your father upon the earth: for one is your
Father, which is in heaven" (Matt. 23:9 (KJV).

Person being addressed as your spiritual "father" is unbiblical to say the least.

Hi be nice, speak the truth in love. You have a very valid point, and there are many other valid points along these same lines, However I don't think people will be won over by insults...
here is a web site for those who have questions about the difference between what the Catholic church teaches and what the bible says:

You are onto something my man.
Rev 12:9 And the great dragon was cast out, that old serpent, called the Devil, and Satan, which deceiveth the whole world: she was cast out into the earth, and her angels were cast out with her.
No one teaches or keeps the Laws of Yahweh in the whole world, not the Christians, Muslims or even the Jews.

But if I am delayed, I write so that you may know the right and proper way to conduct yourself in THE HOUSE OF YAHWEH, who are the called out ones of the living Father, the pillar and ground of the truth.

Fist of all, how do you know the verse means "we do not call another father in reference to a spiritual or church leaders"? All it SAYS is "call NO MAN father"
YOu are interpreting. They are interpreting. Everyone is interpreting.
How do you justify the way you interpret the verses that say that you should not touch a person who is menstruating?
Open your eyes. It is all about picking and choosing which justify what you already belive and what you have been taught are true.

Catholics don't read the bible. If they did they would realize that praying to Mary isn't in there either.Or confessing your sins to a priest.
