The best answer that I can give you is "talk a nice long walk", listen to your "favourite tunes", try not to "think" - the longer you walk, and do this alone, the better you will feel. The Brain needs a rest, so quit straining it... Just relax - breath deeply and slowly and take time to "smell" the roses, so to say!

coping.org helps you deal with life stressorie!<-- this site will help you more then my answer! i sware by this site for well jsut about everything in my life! at least check it out before you go on.
take up some meditation! and relize that if something is not in your control THERE IS NOTHING YOU CAN DO just look for the good in life and strive for you goals! if you have no goals make some and make them as big as you can big enough that it will motiviate you and get you all excited! and wide eyed! take a proactive approach on your life don't wait for things to happen!
don't share you goals with many peeps they could make it seem impossable and your goals are not impossiable!
eg: I'll tell you mine i have a good enough mine set to have you say you can't do that! I already know i can!
my goal is to own a few radio station in large markets, they will be rock and have great employees my radio stations will be # 1 in all markets i buy them from! A radio station cost around 1 million or more! higher the larger market! I make under 40 k a year so money wize it don't look reach able but my desire has so much fire that money isn't nothing but a problem i'll find a way around if i want the radio station badly!
any way i hope my thoughts helped!

You don't really want to "let loose" you just want to learn how to deal with stress in a healthy way. Drinking, drugs, etc., not healthy ways to deal with stress, in fact, they create more.
Learn to take time daily to; sit with no TV, music, computer, telephone or people making noise or bothering you. Sit quietly, close your eyes, clear your mind. Take some slow, deep breaths. Do this for about 15-20 minutes.
Relaxing baths with lavender oil are de-stressing. Also a great massage. Exercise is good too, daily, some sort.
Make sure you eat healthy and get plenty of sleep. Take vitamins.

This is a very good blog, a beginner’s guide to abnormal psychology.
Short, clear and simple; and you can even post your question and contact the author regarding particular subject you are interested in, for FREE
