Might try antique shops, the"Lighthouse" or other associations for the blind.
They used to do "real "caning to raise money.
Failing that, there are kits you can buy online that use "cane" mesh that is held in place using the original spline groove (if there is one)
To compare cost ( If you find a good craftsman), they generally charge by the "front inch".
Most antique shops send the work out ,so you are paying them handling fees on top of the work.
