Never take pills, or you'll gain all your weight back and then some. You have to exercise in some form or another. Maybe try walking longer than you usually would, or like someone else said, find something that is active and fun for you to partake in. Also, try the Scarsdale Medical Diet to lose some serious weight. Not only do you lose weight but you learn to eat a healthier variety of foods. I have lost 24 lbs on it in about 8 weeks. You stick to the diet for 2 weeks initially and take the next two off. So technically it took me 4 weeks to lose that weight, and I am still losing! I also go to the gym 3x a week, but you might need to start with something more moderate. Trust me I used to hate exercising but I adapted to it and I don't mind at all now!

Ok well to start off pills don't work they make you thin then as soon as you stop taking them you gain the weight back. You should eat vegitarian for a little while then slowly add low in fat meats back to diet like turkey. You should try to avoid steak. Of coarse you can't have junk food like candy and chip but you can have like one piece of candy once a week. No fast food. Exercise doesn't have to be boring join a gym with a friend or two and work out together or join a class that a gym near you has you may make friends while your there.

if you're consuming fewer calories than your base metabolic rate (adjusted for exercise), you will lose weight. ie:

If your BMR is 2500:
- Eat 2000 cals/day, lose a little over a pound per week (52lb/year)

- Eat 2250 cals/day and burn 250 cals/day biking, playing a sport, or exercising, lose a little over a pound per week (52lb/year)

- Eat 3000 cals/day and burn 1000 cals/day doing cardio at the gym, playing an intensive sport, or some combination, lose a little over a pound per week (52lb/year)

Consider commuting by foot or bike, taking up a sport, dance class, or martial art; lifting weights (more muscle increases your metabolism); or some other combination.

Summary: eat right and with calories appropriate to your goals, try to get 1/2 hour of physical activity daily (however you describe that), and you'll be fine.

oh, and in response to some other advice you've gotten- "shaking machines" were an old gimmick long proven not to reduce weight at all. saunas just make you sweat- an easy way to lose water weight, but not fat (and ideally you should be replacing that water ASAP). ...and there are plenty of fat, unhealthy vegetarians out there- as well as huge vegan bodybuilders. calories and protein are the issue here, not where they're coming from.

Well besides pills and exercising, you can go to a sauna and lose weight there. Or you can start making the right choice in food for your body and you'll also lose weight, but that's harder to do. You can also use a shaking machine to lose weight. A shaking machine isn't boring if you read a book or something when your using it. A starvation diet also helps you weight but it's very unhealthily. I hope this answers your question. Sorry if it doesn't.

google search this diet it really works type in three day diets and it will come up mostly it's black coffe in the morning and lots of tuna... but you can cheat a little at night you can eat some saltines with cheddar cheese and drink juice. and do a lot of walking not too much though. i went from 148 lbs to (get this 110 lbs) in one and a half months. in the first few days you'll lose nine to nine and a half lbs. but at the end of the week you'll make it up and you'll lose anywhere between one to two lbs. and yes the weight will stay off!!!! i did regain weight but that was because i got pregnant. other than that it really does work the weight stayed off of me for over a year before i got pregnant

Find a non-boring exercise. But you can't lose weight and be healthy unless you get active.

Try walking through a really nice forest preserve, or go kayaking or something. You don't have to just jog. Even walking briskly is enough.

Light exercise to energizing music. Also take apple pectin, three pills before any meal or snack will slow the digestive process. You can get them at most vitamin stores. This takes away the sugar highs and lows that come from eating. That keeps you from getting tired and keeps you from snacking which comes from being sleepy.
