that's really hard to answer, mainly because it ranges on the person.. and though I've never cheated, I've had plenty of friends who cheated and been cheated on.. here's a list of things that they've told me why they did it..

1. the other person was always accusing me of it so I finally just did it

2. the other person was just dull

3. the other person did it to them so they did it back

4. the other person was too demanding and so they did it as an act of rebellion.

all in all.. it's always "the other person's" fault. I'm a really understanding person, so I can kinda see why a person would want to end it and be with someone else because of these reasons.. but cheating.. that just really doesn't say much for one's character and karma is a b---- so I wouldn't dream of going there. generally cheating is caused by someone losing their senses and not being able to control themselves.

I think that the predominant attitude is that they put themselves first instead of their partner. They want it to be all about them and their happiness, instead of that of their husband/wife. They have a "plan B" if the marriage isn't working the way they want it to and they are not happy.

I don't think its just about sex. Its about attention. Someone special, and someone that makes you feel special.

There is obviously an emotional void at the married houshold.... or... a lack of respect for thier partner.

Not necessarily. But if the porn is about stuff that you are not doing, it's time to consider the possibility of trying it if the relationship means enough to you. Why not watch the porn together.
