Is it ok to drink in front of people that dont drink??OR is it considered rude??....What about drinking in front of people that use to be alcoholics??

Alcoholics,not the best idea.Anyone else, as long as your not in their house who cares!

My dad is a recovering alcoholic, and has been for about 20 years now. I never drink in front of him. Just out of respect for his struggles.
I don't feel comfortable drinking in front of non-drinkers or alcoholics. Drinking doesn't mean that much to me that I need to do it in front of people who have issues with it.

Out of pure consideration and respect for the recovering alcoholic, I wouldnt do it.
But as far as drinking around others that just choose not to drink, I do. I am not a big drinker, but an occassional glass of wine..

I think that drinking in moderation is okay, although it may seem insensitive to drink around an alcoholic, that person needs to be able to say no to alcohol in any situation.

Well drinking in front of people is not rude but if there were alchoholics that is they may get them back into it

I drink in front of my friends that are in AA, but I asked them if it was cool. Also, sometimes they will even ask me if I want a drink.

depends on the situation.Like my brothers wife is a mennonite and does not believe in alcohol and my brother
is a recovering alcoholic.Out of respect I do not drink in
front of them.

I don't drink and it doesn't bother me. I'm 18 mos. clean and sober.
