I have a company logo/letter head on a Word document, but when I enlarge it, it looks really fuzzy and almost unreadable.

How can I convert the image (not the entire page) into a jpeg or pdf so that it looks like the original logo?

I've tried scanning the document but that didn't work.

PDFCreator easily creates PDFs from any Windows program. Use it like a printer in Word, StarCalc or any other Windows application.

A dozens of software allows you to convert Word to PDF document like,

AcroPDF
http://www.acropdf.com

PDF Printer
http://www.win8pdf.com/pdf-printer.html

Easy PDF Creator
http://www.pdfdesk.com

Modern PDF Generator
http://www.modernpdf.com

You print from within your Microsoft Word document to the virtual PDF printer/creator/generator, you get the PDF file as the result.

To convert Word document into JPEG, I have no idea. Sorry!

A very easy method is to download
http://www.openoffice.org
and open your Word document.

There is an export ability that allows you to create a PDF document easily. Just give it a file name and if you want a image file or a fields file (the ability to fill in the PDF after its published)

Cut and paste the image into photoshop or something. You can not save a word file as a jpeg.

You need the Adobe software to save a word document as a pdf.

This might be a round about way of doing it...but if you hit Ctrl and 'Print Screen' you get a screen shot. Just paste that screen shot into a photo software program and crop off the parts you don't want. This process is harder to explain than it is to actually do it.
Good luck though, and hopefully someone else knows an easier way to do it. :)
