well they could have been refering to a lot of things... because shakira sounds funny when trying to speak english and so does ellen when trying to speak spanish... shakira has two defenitions that i know of...full of grace... and ... greatful... but i think the reference was more on how they sound and try hard eventhough they cant do it very well...hehehe

as far as i know shakira is an arabic name and not spanish.
