It has been rated very high on every auto magazine lists of good cars. I believe that it was also named Motor Trend Car of the Year two years ago when it was introduced. Might be more than two years ago...but you get the point.

A car is never a "investment', but mazda has done a much better job than in years past. Still will not hold as much resale as a Civic, but is a great car none the less.

You do not invest in cars, only car companies. Cars depreciate as soon as they are bought. If you go with a Mazda 3 Get a used one or a demo. It will save you some money. Check out other Japanese cars in that class, Honda Civic, Toyota Corolla, Subaru Impreza.

Are you buying as an investment? Cars are not good things to purchase as investments cause they drop in value when you drop it off the lot. If you are looking to invest, go with real estate, it never loses value

Mazda's do not hold their value as well as Toyota or Honda. If you're looking for a car that is dependable and will hold value no. If you're looking for dependable it's in top 5.
