I think a big indicator is how well your personalities and interests fit together. If you find you get along really well with each other and have a lot to talk about and activities to share, that's a good sign.

I know and see a lot of couples out there that eventually break up, or they are still together, but are just "going through the motions". Most people I think are just looking at the short term. They aren't thinking... 20 years from now, would we still be friends? Would we still be coming up with things to do?

And the other unfortunate trend that many people out there fall into... caring too much about physical appearance. What you have on the inside is what will make it last.

You first need to know how you feel about certain issues and then you have to look for someone who feels the same way on the most important issues in life, If you are having trouble meeting people try new things like on-line dating or go to parties or maybe even church events

Okay hun, some main things to look for.

1) The way a man treats his mother is the way he will treat his wife.
2) S teady financial situation
3)sound morals
4)is good with kids
5) is open to adopt if for some reason you are unable to have children.
6)Is spiritually sound.

Now not necissarily in that order, but those are the things I fin most important.
