Does anyone in here know if cigna healthcare and united healtcare are one in the same?

They are not the same. However, UHC is buying many carriers in various states right now as they want to compete with BCBS. I have not heard any industry news that says UHC is buying Cigna. I believe Cigna is the larger of the 2 carriers as they are diversified and global.
