When people come on here with banal problems like debt, relationships, health etc they generally get sincere and genuine helpful advice?
..And when questions are asked about religious or political issues, the answers most frequently contain unhelpful, vindictive slanders frequently from those same respondents? Does this tell us something?
My motto if someone's in trouble or injured, pick them up..ask questions if necessary of their political and religious affiliations later

Please read the question? What I'm asking is that why do otherwise fanatical Zealots answer with compassion and sincerity on everyday problems that trouble all of us? Whence the dichotomy? or is there really good and hope within all of us?

If a person's genuinely troubled--and I don't think debt, relationships, and health are banal issues--why slam them? Just help them if you can and let others help if you can't.

Religious and political issues don't have such an immediate effect on people, however.

Well I agree there is more to a person than there slant on religion or politics but this is the R&S forum. Perhaps questions that require a non religious answer should go under another forum, a simple suggestion.

Great question and I can't answer for everyone but, I can tell you the only time I look down on anyone is if I am picking them up, and if people say nasty things or something I may not agree with I simply say God Bless you and keep on moving the majority of the time...

most of the questions that are asked about religion are not for help but just to stir up if any one needs help i will give it freely without asking their religion ,the ones who do the stir up then blame the victim for the trouble but i am sure most good people can see this

Religious followers set themselves up for ridicule, because their beliefs seem ridiculous to those who have thought rationally.
