Like for the past 3 week she has complained of her forehead hurting about 2 or 3 times a week.. It would go away after a couple minutes and she would be fine. Yesterday her forehead hurt so bad she started to cry and asked to lay down. Today she is fine. I made a Doctor appt. but they can't get her in for another week. She's not sick and she's never suffered from allergies. Any ideas what could be ailing her?

Another thing that I might be worried about is migraines. I know it sounds crazy but I was 5 when I had my first one that my mother was SURE was a migraine. My head hurt so bad that I was going to go home from school and while waiting for my mother to pick me up I told a secretary who was siting with me that I could see pretty colors and then promptly threw up all over the poor woman. To this day I still get migraines so bad I see things and vomit. I would definitely also check her eyesight too but if you can't find anything else that could be a cause. I hope she feels better soon!

Has she fell and jerked her neck and body Had a possible Car accident could be out of alignment it happens to kids a lot Then you should see a Chiropractor.

Has she been getting new teeth Teeth causes head and neck pain also causes your nose to run.

My guess is she stressed or has she been eating different things or been exposed to dogs cat's or heavy dust here of late if so she could be allergies.
Does the pain happen to radiate between the nose and eyes then could be allergies.Try to get her to blow her nose.

I just put a little vaporizer in my sons room when he was little and this helped with the allergies.keeps the dust down
Also be sure to vacuum your vents out the soot and dirt left by summer blows in the air and causes kids to get headaches.

It also could be starting of Flu.
During this season if you take her shopping be sure to wet wipe the carts and where she sits.also Don't drink water from the fountains while out. less chance of exposure.
get plenty of fluid.

There could be so many things but you have to wait for a doctor to perform a check. The first thing I though about was brain tumor causing head aches but it's not very comforting is it? So just try not to guess just wait, 1 week won't make a big of a difference for kid's health

Take her to the Emergency room. There's more than one doctor there that can take a look at her and give you some serious solutions to the child's problem. Do not wait any longer, it could be a cold or a virus or symptoms of the flu. Do not hesitate.

Headache is a pain in the head, scalp or neck. Headaches can be
caused by minor problems like eyestrain, lack of coffee or more
serious reasons like head injury, brain tumors, encephalitis and
meningitis. Taking painkillers continuously can have harmful side
effects, so it is better to modify your lifestyle. More information

my best bet is that there ARE some allergies in your house- not saying that you are dirty, but simple allergens. The thing with allergies is that they develope over time, so just because she hasn't had them before doesn't mean she doesn't have them now. You should probably get her tested for sinuses too because sinuses can lead to a number of complications like headaches, toothaches, ear infections, etc.

I think if it was my child and it was hurting bad enough TO CRY, I;d be scared enough to call that doctor back and explain her crying with it and you must get in earlier.or take her to the emergency room if she starts crying with it again its not normal for a child to have headaches that young I don;t believe.hope she will be OK.(IT COULD BE EAR INFECTION BUT ONLY A DOCTOR CAN TELL FOR SURE.

Has she heard anyone saying their head hurts or seen anyone crying from it. My little sister would say her back hurt all the time, but we finally figured out she was mocking my grandmother. That could be it or just see what the doctor says. In the mean time give her children's tylenol if she says it hurts.
