Yes the Typhoon is better than the Rafale it is better at air to air combat and both are good at air to ground although the rafale probably edges that department for now, but overall the typhoon wins

Miles better. It's extremely agile, can supercruise: Travel at supersonic speeds without using reheat/afterburner, is semi-stealth (Has stealthy features) and is extremely high tech. The computer systems are so intelligent it can tell the pilot when things fail, but can also tell the engineers exactly what's wrong with it, and exactly when in the sortie the failure occured. This saves hours of engineering time, deciding how to repair the aircraft. The aircraft is partly voice controlled, saving the pilot flicking switches all over the cockpit and taking his eyes off of the target. The pilot's helmet is fitted with it's own display system, so the pilot does not need to steer the jet to exactly point at the target to fire at it (Off boresight shooting), and does not need to face forward to check his/her situation out.
It's not solely a fighter either. It's able to be fitted with bombs of all types too.
The Typhoon is second only to the F-22 Raptor in capability and raw power and has been sold to several Nations. The Rafale has not yet been sold to anyone other than the French.

Yes, the Typhoon is a more modern aircraft. It's just a shame it's taken them 20 years to develop it.
The EAP first flew 20 years ago, but that isn't the Typhoon, it had totally different systems and engines, it just looked similar.

Yes. The Eurofighter Typhoon is better than the dumb Dassault Rafale. But, the SAAB JAS-39 Gripen is even better, but not better than the F-22 Raptor.

I would think so but both are unproven (in combat) designs that first flew 20 years ago.
I agree with the Su-37(47) being one kick-*** plane.
