Today I ran into my guy friend at work, whom I have a crush on. I told him a couple of days ago that it was best that i didn't talk to him or email him since he already has a gf and that it was better that we just said hi and bye. I feel that I can't be a close friend to him, because I know I like him as more than a friend. Anyway today when I saw him he barely said hi and looked kinda nervous or possibly confused and didn't say bye.

Well you did tell him you didn't think you guys should talk anymore, did you really mean it or were you wanting to see what he would say? Like maybe he liked you to or would leave his girl? If you truly do not want a friendship this is a good thing. To answer your question no he should not be mad he should just respect your decision which it sounds like he did.

Does he know you have a crush on him though? If you just told him you didn't want a close friendship with him without letting him know why, he's probably sad or confused or hurt.
If you did tell him, I still don't see how he could be mad. He's probably just hurt. You did the right thing though.

You are doing the right thing. Just keep doing the hi and bye thing. He is just seeing if you will budge and if you give in, he might think he can have his cake and eat it too.
If he likes you he will continue to talk to you. trust your first thought.

Hey you got a nice way of thinking, i know how u feel. U dont wanna be close, because you have feelings towards him, and u dont wanna possibly ruin his relationship. He doesn't have a right, but maybe he doesn't realize WHY you're doing this. Tell him why you're doing this, and he should be glad of your kindness =)

Guys who have sexual/romantic feelings toward a woman can not be "just friends". It is not in our nature. If it is best you two do not interact, then leave it be.

he's doing what you asked him to do. what else do you want from him? you know how you feel about him and you also know that he has a gf, so staying away is a good thing. you don't want to cause a breakup.

i dont think that you dont have to talk, you can talk, and have a reguler conversation, there is nothing wrong with that, cause if you 2 stop talkin then soon you well never be talkin, and i highly doubt that is wat you want, now is it?
