They don't care, they think they will never see these people ever again, lol. They are most of the time wrong! I had this incident where I was scratching the out side of my nose in a parking lot for 2 minutes and it looked like I was picking it. I looked up, a girl from school was parked right next to me. How embarrassing!

How do you make a hankie dance?? You give it a little boogie...let'em pick...you get grossed out and they don't even know...aren't aware people are looking at them.
Allthough, sometimes, if you catch someone really digging, give them a honk and let them know you saw them..it can be rather comical.

Perhaps they are just getting ready so that the next time a vehicle gets to close and is tailgating, they can flick a booger on their windshield.

They think it's a combination of things--that people can't se them, and that even if people see them they'll never see these people again. It's the tourist syndrome.

At least they aren't doing it at the break room table while I am trying to eat my lunch like one of my co-workers has a habit of doing.

they pick it cause thats where the boogers live..who cares if some one can see..the booger has to go
