Not necessarily. The myth the eating after about 6 or 7 p.m. will make you gain weight is simply that; a myth. Your body still needs some energy while you sleep and will use that extra energy (from the food you ate) in the morning.
Now, if you are eating extremely large quantites of unhealthy food, sure, you'll gain weight. But you can do that at any point in the day and still gain weight.

Don't worry too much about what time you eat. It's a myth that foods eaten later in the day will make you gain weight. It's true that eating more earlier rather than later is better though because you have a chance to burn off those calories during the day, but your over all calorie count is what really matters. I do have to say that a bag of chips is really NOT the way to go when you need a midnight snack. Try and always have some fruit or veggies around so you can have your quick munchie fix! Oh and I must ask... do you exercise? Because BOTH diet & exercise are key to keeping trim and being healthy! So tonight what are you going to do when you need your snack?? Grab an apple or pear and perhaps sprinkle it with cinnamon!!

I don't think so.
I ate late at night for 4 years and never gained a pound that entire time.
Some studies and diets say you should stop eating at a certain time. Some don't. Your body burns calorie at about the same rate the entire time so...

No..It all depends on your metabolism...Some people can eat whatever they want and how much they want and not gain a pound. Even if they eat right before they go to bed. So basically you need to check your metabolism and see how certain foods affect your weight.

This is actually an old wives' tale. Just make sure you are taking in more calories than you burn off in a day.
