One doesn't do that for God, one does that for themselves.

It attenuates the human psyche to the Divinity of God.

I have a picture of myself with an halo.

I am not an angel, but the picture helps to keep me in a state or worship, and reminds me that I am able to be an angel to some people.

God loves to be praised. He already knows your heart but he gives us a choice. Besides Jesus didn't die in private!

We should praise God everyday and every moment for all He has done & continues to do. Why not praise Him?

Because Humans can only think as Humans... they think and do things that make them feel better.. so the thought of God listening to them speak makes them feel better.

As far as I'm concerned, God knows you love him, so there is no need to mention it out loud... except if you want others around you to know your devotion towards god...

I would hoe my mother and father know that I love them and am thankful for all they have done. While I do not praise them, I do thank them and give them my unconditional love and respect. How could I do any less for my maker and salvation?
