What are the scents in aromatherapy for? I need a list, like Rose = Stress relief (i'm pretty sure that's not true, though. It's just an example). Please try to include as much scents as possible, I need to know what scents I need to buy.

Be sure to purchase essential oils and not fragrance oils which are synthetic chemicals.
The health food stores carry small bottles, less than an ounce. Make sure they are dark glass and PURE essential oils.
The health food store will have information about each oil, how to use it and cautions. I know the NOW brand has a brochure with details on each oil and their uses.
Remember, these oils are concentrated and not to be used neat (full strength) on the skin. So use care when working with your aromatherapy and enjoy. It works wonders for me.

It's curious why someone would give a thumb's down for this information. I have worked with eo's for 15 years and passed on some important information.
