I am looking for something that can haul a bunch of stuff like a suv or a mini van and Not a truck. I want 4 wheel drive and I dont want to waste a lot of money in gas. My husband wont buy ford. What should I get?

You pretty much limit your choices to a Subaru Outback or a small crossover SUV like the Toyota RAV4. It really depends on your budget and your individual taste in styling etc.
